Pill Reminder · Last updated 17 May 2026

Pill Reminder is designed to work entirely on your device.

Summary

Pill Reminder does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no third-party tracking. Everything you enter stays on your device.

Information you enter

You can add medications, dosages, notes, schedules, and a history of doses you mark as taken, skipped, or snoozed. This information is stored only in the app's local storage on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else, because the app has no network connection and no backend.

Notifications

Reminders are delivered using your device's local notifications, scheduled on-device by iOS. No reminder content leaves your device.

Device backups

If you back up your device (for example with iCloud Backup or an encrypted computer backup), that backup is managed by Apple or your computer and may include Pill Reminder's local data, according to your own backup settings. We have no access to your backups.

Data we collect about you: none

Required-reason API disclosure

The app uses Apple's UserDefaults API solely to store your in-app preferences (such as whether you have acknowledged the in-app disclaimer) on your device. This is declared in the app's privacy manifest.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual medications, schedules, or history entries within the app. Deleting the app from your device permanently removes all of its local data.

Children

Pill Reminder is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Medical disclaimer

Pill Reminder helps you keep track of your medications. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for the guidance of your doctor or pharmacist. Do not rely on it as your only reminder or as a definitive record of your doses.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this page with a new "last updated" date.
